Program goal

The Coach Practitioner International program is a training program based on the ICF standard of coaching.

 

You will learn:

  • how to develop internal flexibility in a constantly changing world;
  • how to use coaching questions to achieve results in any area;
  • how to develop your mindset and see opportunities where no one sees them;
  • how to improve communication skills;
  • how to assess the present and design the future;
  • how to correctly formulate answers to your questions about life, professional development, goals, meaning.

 

After completing the international program you will be able to:

  • Each module takes 2 months.
  • Intermodular period is 1 month.

  • Triad work. You work in three roles: coach, client and observer.

Module 1 "Coaching from the Ground Up"

 1. The concept and possibilities of coaching

  • Coaching and the distinction from other helping professions.
  • Opportunities that coaching brings.
  • The Being of a coach. Coach position.
  • Coaching competencies.
  • Types of clients

Outcome:

  • Understand what coaching is and in what situations coaching tools can be used.
  • Learn the differences between coaching and other modalities.
  • Figure out how to develop a coach position.
  • Find out what clients you can coach.
  • Understand your professional development strategy.

 2. Methodology of coaching, or how coaching works

  • Coaching competencies.
  • Coaching questions.
  • Establishing a coaching agreement.
  • Coaching session structure.
  • Goal setting.

  • Learn the structure and stages of a coaching session.

 3. Changing Mindset with Coaching

  • The Model T: generating questions for expanding and focusing in a conversation.
  • The "Scale" technique.
  • Practicing as a coaching client to work on your own challenges.
  • Practicing as an observer to provide an outside perspective.

  4. Getting to Results with Clients

  • Limiting beliefs and objections. Self 1 and Self 2.
  • Timothy Gallwey's Inner Game Concept.
  • Five levels of listening by David Clutterbuck.
  • Listening skills development.
  • Facilitation of a planning process which enables the client to put their goals into action.
  • Facilitating client’s self-reflection in coaching (“what I learned about myself”).

Outcome:

  • Learn to hear and recognize the client's beliefs and objections.
  • Learn to recognize Self 1 and Self 2 and work with them. Learn ways to reduce the influence of Self 1 in order to move forward.
  • Start listening to the client at a deeper level.
  • Master some technique letting clients achieve results.
  • Understand how mindset works and how to apply this knowledge to coaching.
  • Learn to ask questions that help them know themselves (reflection).

 5. Self-presentation and Getting Clients

  • Presenting yourself as a coach.
  • Building relationship with a client.
  • Conducting an introductory diagnostic session.
  • Closing the deal.
  • Conducting an Intake session.
  • Conducting regular coaching sessions.

  • Fundamentals of Emotional Intelligence: “I understand myself. What do I feel as a coach?”
  • Working with client’s emotions.
  • Techniques to explore emotions. Complex emotions.
  • Verbal and non-verbal language. Sharing observations with clients.
